I haVe the 2x2 growth series table I'm trying g to make my first line test the dry run goes fine. I go active and it drops down the ohmic sensor detects my steel. The torch lights makes a pierce. Stays on for 10 or 15 sec arc goes out air flows for another 20 sec then .nothing. Last call to Lincoln was to make sure plasma was on second mode from the top. It is but I've tried all 4 modes...no change. Help.

Does the torch head move during the 10-15 seconds the arc is on?

What are the modes you are referring to? I have ran my table in awhile, I don't remember a mode selection like you're talking about.

No head movement. My powermax 65 has a mode selector (top right) expanded, plate,gouge,and one with a lock.on it

Also labeled continuous pilot arc and non continuous pilot arc

Ok. You want non continuous arc for plate.
If no movement is the TM receiving the ok to move signal from the Hypertherm?
