    PCNC 1100 spindle speed display

    I want a fixed, independent, display showing the actual speed of the spindle on my PCNC 1100. I have the hand held one & cannot stand it.

    About a year ago, I saw an article about someone who built the sensor onto the spindle cover. That is exactly what I want.

    Problem is, I can't remember where I saw this article. Can't find it in this forum.

    Anybody else see it?

    Oops - I think I just found it in this forum.

    A post called "Tachometer project for the PCNC 1100 " in May of last year by "MFChief.
