Hey guys as i post in other thread i was very bad experience with my builds last one used thin steel and get a lot of vibrations, now im building a new machine, but think that Y Gantry are very heavy now i measure the steel that i cut i get like 70kg for the Y Gantry (whithout the hiwin rails, router and ballscrews).

I have some AM882 that support 70V and am542 but just support 36V.


Think that 2 of these motors witht the AM882 can move close to 120-130KG? or recommend me to make an fixed machine?

Well i have 1610 ballscrews, will use hiwin rails.
i really dont care about speed right now. i will build another machine that run faster i want to use this one just as hobby and to make my own parts for another machine (with less weight(=)

I have 2x 380oz.in (I think 2.8 inductance, at 48v) steppers moving a >100kg gantry at 20m/min (rapids) using 15mm pitch ball screws.

Cuts at 6m/min - have not tried faster.
