The programmable coolant unit on my Haas Super Mini Mill began acting up yesterday. Here are the symptoms. At first, the nozzle would swing away from its programmed position. Sometimes I could get it back to the proper position by using the 'Coolant Up' and 'Coolant Down' buttons, but these were not always reliable. As the day progressed, the problem became worse and the machine started to shut down during operations with a 'Coolant Spigot Alarm'. Today the machine wouldn't run at all, alarming out before any cutting could begin. I took the cover off the P-Cool unit and inspected the workings. Although I didn't check them with a multimeter, the micro switches seem to be properly triggered. There's no excess friction anywhere and I can easily turn the gear train by hand. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this?
