Hi all need some help, we have a Syntec 6MA controlled CNC and trying to be able to set z height to material surface per job

1. lower z axis to material height
2. apply machine coordinates on that axis - (xy axis work this way but not z)

but it gives me a negative value in the G54P1(G54) setting and it alarms out if trying to run job,
but if I set the height manually in the G54P1(G54) to material thickness it works

is there a way to use apply machine coords
