    GMFC help needed

    Hi, All

I just finished my cnc foam cutter and have it running on foamworks
well. I am deciding what software to purchase and am now trying GMFC.
I have it running but after it makes a cut it dose not return to the
zero point on the Y axis. After each cut it gets lower and lower and
is repeatable. Dose anyone have any ideas.

    Thanks

    Gary

I would normally expect it to get higher as you lose steps when the direction reverses. Do you have a figure in the "steps lost" field under table configuration?

    Eb,

It is "0" It might be loosing steps but the error is so repeatable. If I block cut it returns to the correct "0" position. I am running 400 steps per rev with a 16tpi screw.

I am going to load CeNeCe tonight.

    hi,

for my case, setting motor too fast will cause out of shape. with slow setting it solve the problem. try lower your steps/mm value to half.
