    Bobcad and linuxcnc

I have a diy cnc router machine. I am switching from mach3 to linuxcnc. I have linuxcnc configured but cannot open a g code file. I am using Bobcad V25 for my cad program. Anyone have ideas of what to do.

You will need to switch your post processor to one for linux cnc and repost your files as linux cnc has different requirements than mach 3. I switch from mach3 to linux cnc as well, once you get every thing working you will not look back.

    Jimmungar,

    1: Goto the bobcad.com/support/post-processors page
2: Select the type of machine you are using.
    3: Select EMC
4: Select the appropriate version of EMC that you are currently using.
5: Download and install the required postprocessor.

See attached link and image for more detailed direction.
