It has advantages and disadvantages as all software's do, however IMO it's well worth the money. I have use it for 2yrs and do not regret the purchase. Support is second to none and this is an important consideration to make when purchasing any software regardless of price.

Since Autodesk purchased ArtCAM, there is a new (old) alternative to Aspire.
You can now get a subscription to ArtCAM for $360/year, which gives you most Aspire features plus more. In 5 years, you'll have payed less than Aspire, with all new versions included.

This purchase was in early 2014 -- Just a FYI

If a company experiences 0 or a negative growth, one of the tactics used to recover from the trend is to 'buy' the competition including it's technology and customer base. Seems like the big fish eat the little ones and just get bigger and bigger.
