Hi guys !

I did a engraving toolpath in ArtCAM. Like you can see on picture.


My problem is that, when machine start engraving it first goes to letter P and make a dot, than it goes to letter O and make a dot. After that it goes to some other letter and make dot.
After all those dots been made machine goes from letter to letter and make them till the end.

My question is : Is there any way to make toolpath engrave letter by letter (not jumping around) and moving in some logical order for example V-O-D-N-O P-O-L-J-E and not like now P (just dot) - U (just dot) and so on...?!

Hi first change the text to vector then you can make toolpath letter by letter after you finished merge all the orders together and you will be happy

Okey, that solves the problem...
But problem is... there is 38 letters and that means that I need to make 38 toolpaths and than marge them all into one which takes a lot of time.
Is there any more simple way to do that ?

I have about 8 years experience in art cam i don,t know another way but you can open the toolpath give the order to the first letter leave it open select the second letter change the toolpath name to (1) for example press ok then the third same way or you can group 4 or 5 letters under 1 toolpath other way i don,t know
