Has anyone come across a 3d model for an AR-15 A3 upper forging. I am in need of one. I use solidworks for my cad designs but not very familiar with how to create some of the features on the forging. I have a detailed print but need the model of the forging. We are trying to get set up to machine them and having the 3d cad for this part would be very helpful for the guy doing the cam for us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the info Trell. I was looking for the forging model, which it turns out I actually had buried in an old email. Everything I saw on his site where complete parts, but thank you anyway.

Forgings are not standardized. You'll have to just buy one and model it from the supplier you want to use. If you're going to cut your own AR-15s start with billet. FYI, the model on CNCguns is incorrect.
