I like admiring the images posted, but I have not downloaded any.

    Cheers

I know how many models are downloaded per day, I follow every download, more than 200 downloads a day, if you are so interested!

Do not download ???, then I see no reason to spread!
I, too, can say a lot of things, but I can do absolutely differently!

It is because of people like you that any desire to do something for people disappears !!!

ygorek forgive, I downloaded several files for personal use only . I do not make money on cnc .Please just change the name of the post with free models to buy to use models because it encourages the downloading without paying

    with regards

It's not a pay to use. It's a donation. If you like the models send ygorek a tip. It's like going to a restaurant to eat. If you like then you tip good. Just a suggestion

    I answered you:
After milling it is enough to cut through a hole of the desired diameter under your watch.
Or do you need to make a hole in the model in the owl?

I think it's better to drill a hole later, so that the diameter of the clock will fit.
Otherwise, you can not guess with a diameter, you work through the artkam.

Thanks Ygorek, finally just sent a reply, it's been very busy this week.

I've also just glued up some English Oak to machine the dragon clock for my son this weekend, so I should be able to post some pics when done and sanded.

I'm really looking forward to doing that one, thanks again for posting the model!

    cheers, Ian

I bought for my money more than 100 high-quality models, spent about 100 dollars!
I'm sorry for you to spread!

Haven't sanded or oiled it yet, quick pic raw off the machine and I'm pretty happy with the results! Thanks for posting the model Ygorek!

First time I've used European Oak for 3D work, it's an absolute dream to machine, using a 2.5mm ball nose cutter, the timber will barely need any sanding at all!

    cheers, Ian

Did you run the toolpath with grain or cross grain?

Because this oak isn't stringy to machine I did it along the grain for the roughing and finish passes.

When I do Tas Oak/Vic Ash I usually do a rough pass at 45 degrees, and then the finish with the grain to break the strings up. With the grain of the EO it's a bit hard to tell, but the finish is super smooth. Should look awesome oiled.

    cheers, Ian
