    Floppy read

    s there any ways to run part program directly from a floppy on okuma lt10. I want to do ball milling on it but total of program I can fit on machine is 4000 lines. I need at least 3 times more. Would be obligated if someone know trick. Is trere any mcode similar to g198 on fanuc

    you again ? also, is there a way to reduce those 4k lines ? is the output/code precision corelated with desired part rugozity and machine accuracy ?

    Depending on the control, you may be able to put in in with your system files and run from there. 7000 and u100 use MD0: before that it was BB0: on the 5000 series. They usually had much more memory available in the system files area. You can check it by doing FREE BB0: command. FREE BB0: ;C will show continuous available.

    I think you are referring to M198 on the Fanuc.
