Do you get alarms? Which ones? Are you trying to send the same program back?

No alarms, just sits and flashes LSK. I have tried different programs, different setting, cables. Could the board be bad if you can send with no problems?
    Thanx,

    1. What communications program are you using to send/receive? Are you set up for hardware or software handshaking? It could be your software is waiting for a DC code from the control.
    2. How is your cable wired?
    3. Have you tried hooking up a RS-232 Tester to the cable and/or the machine?
    4. Do you have other machines in your shop communicating with the same PC? If so, try the same cable on other machines.

In the program you are trying to send, is the first character a "%" ? Try that.

    Jerrytool:

What does the beginning and end of a program look like?

    For example:

    %
    O0030
    (a first comment maybe)
(is there a : instead of the letter O in the program name)

    then program stuff

    M30
    %

Your dump from the CNC to the computer should tell you if this is the required structure.

If this is the structure, then create a program like this:

    %
    O0100
    (X)
    M30
    %

This is 13 characters plus carriage returns and line feeds. Try sending at 1200 baud. See if this will load. It might be small enough to avoid any buffer problems.

What if any error messages occur with this?

Check The Program Protect Key , Make Sure It Is Set To Write Enable.ran Into This The Other Day On My 21-tb,some Joker Flipped The Write Protect Key ON And I Could Send Programs But Not Recieve.took Me An Hour Of Checking Computer, settings And Parameters.looked Down And Noticed It Was Changed To Write Protect.

Don't Know If This Is Problem But It Sure Gave Me Fits!!!!!
