    adjusting turret

I have an Okuma Cadet LNC 8. One of my young guys crashed a big drill and now the drill will not indicate back to concentric with the chuck. How do I realign? I'm pretty sure I have to remove the turret and adjust something.

I've got an LNC 8 manual. I could scan that part of it, and email if it would help.

Pull number plate off, loosen bolts for coupling and smack it back in with a dead blow. Cadets are done from the front, unless it's really crashed hard.

You may need to remove / replace the two taper pins
( normally, they are only used to get it close to inline, then removed & stored ...... not having the pins installed allows for the turret to slip easier, if crashed,...... so there is less damage to the machine components )
( pins can be left installed.... your choice )
