    okuma lathe 1998 osp 10ul arlam 1703 ec over load help

    the machine arlam 1703 EC OVER LOAD

    spindle lub motor
    hydraulic pump motor
    slideway lub motor
    please help how to troubleshoot thanx

    We'll need you to do some troubleshooting. The problem could be pretty much any pump motor on the machine. The quick and easy way to get it going again is to go into the electrical panel and reset all the breakers, paying attention to which one is popped. Then you can refer to your electrical diagram to figure out which motor the problem is. Your other method is to check voltage on the OUT side of the breaker and see which one is popped. You may have a bad motor/pump on the go if this keeps happening.

    ok figure out the the breaker it pop . my opr told me he use to fill the slide way oil lube every week. and this week it had not going down that much.monday i try to test that pump thanx ,any advise how to test and by pass that pump

    Never bypass a slide lube pump. The ways and ballscrews cost 20x what a new pump would. If the machine has a 100volt outlet, my guess is someone plugged something in they shouldn't have.

    Another thing that could cause pump issues is "incorrect lub. type used"
    ( a thicker oil would not allow the lines to fill and drip out of the metering valves )

    ok i found the problem, it the coolant pump after clean the pump and let the coolant ran manual only,after 10 minute and it still kick off
    1703. the pump it pumping good and it not hot at all. the breaker set at 2amp .i turned on max 2.5 amp and still kick off the breaker.
