    Custom Probe

I've got a situation where I need to find the center axis of a vertical rod with a digital probe. So kind of the opposite of finding the center of a hole. I need to do it many times and am realizing I could save a lot of time if I wrote a sub routine to do it. I'm no gcode expert but I can probably write some code to do what I want...eventually Before I do that though I thought might check on the boards here and see if someone had already written something like that or if maybe there is another solution I'm not considering. Thanks

Does the pathpilot circular boss probing routine not work for you?

Wow, I'm an idiot. If we could all pretend I'm not a big dummy after asking that question that would be great

For some reason I thought the circular boss probing routine was for a horizontal cylinder, something that might be used before turning. Looking at it now its clearly not, don't know why I thought that. Thanks jcposada.
