Question Need help adding solenoid valve for coolant.

I was wanting to add a solenoid valve to turn on/off coolant.
The G540 manual says to use output ports 5 and 6, but they already go to the VFD.
Does anyone know what they are being used for, or how I could hook one up?
I'm attaching a couple photos of the wiring, and a curtain I put around it to keep the spray inside.
I'm loving the new machine, BTW. It's making me a living just fine
The G540 ports are 1-12. 1 being at the bottom.
Ports 5 and 6 are labeled X1 and X2, seen in the top(left) block of the VFD.
    Thanks in advance, Jerry

G450 only has 2 outputs (which are used for spindle CW and spindle CCW according to your photo). You would have to sacrifice the spindle direction change feature if you want to add a coolant relay.

Thanks for the reply. It's nice to know what they do.

In that case you can use the 4th axis signals if you have a way to break them out from the parallel port.

Hell, I got 2 hands and a light switch. It'll work for me.
Not as cool, but I plan to get one of those ATC, when Shopmaster gets em done. 👍
