Hi, have you looked in the electrical cabinet in the back of the M/C, if you are lucky the wiring/electrical manual could be there. The automatic oiler is normally controlled with the first three timer settings on Fanuc M/C’s.

    Thanks for the reply

Yes checked inside the machine and no sign of it.
Not sure what you mean by the first three timer setting?
    FYI
We had a technician in and without the wiring diagrams it would take him a lot longer to track down what parameter is controlling the automatic oiler being that the machine and controller are from 1993.
Presently the relay for the oiler is rapidly turning on and off not supplying sufficient oil.
In 2015 we lost the memory and all the parameters needed to be reinstalled but we're thinking that the ones for the oiler timer are still missing?
    Regards
    Mike

Timer settings here goes, Press SYSTEM then PMC then PMCPRM and I hope you can know see the TIMER page, if not you will need to find how to display it. The first two TIMERS relate to the Lube Pump, the first TIMER is the off time or waiting time and should be lets say 900000 and the second TIMER is the on time lets say 5000. What is yours set at? If they are set correctly it could be that your relay is dodgy but I take it that you have already checked this.

    Thanks again for the reply.

    Yes already checked the relay.
From what I can tell your instructions apply to newer Fanuc CNC controls ( including newer 0M ) but does not apply to our older machine from 1993.
Without the electrical manual I guess there is no easy way to track down where they may have stored these timer variables?

I was able to track down the for this Diagnostics Parameter D345 use 600000 for off time (600sec) and D350 use 30000 for on time (30sec).
For a tests we entered 30000 into the Diagnostics Parameter D345 and D350 and we could feel the relay turning on and of every 30sec. (FYI, these parameters were blank.)
We changed D345 to the value proper value given 600000 (10min) and issues was solved.

    Thanks for help provided.
