    Question Step/Dir Stepper Control

    Hi

I have three bipolar stepper motors and I would like to control them with CSTEP which uses the parallel port. The options for output are:
    Conrad SMC
    Phase Control
    Pulse Dir.

Does anyone know of any low cost controllers that support these outputs for bipolar motors?

    Thanks
    Kyle

Can't make a drive recommendation without knowing the specs for your motors(ie current and voltage).

Probably the easiest controller style to get would be the pulse/dir type, pretty common on ebay, as well as other places, there are also hobby versions that you can build yourself such as alans picstep, or the ones on pminmo's site..

    enjoy..
