This is a build based on an article from a 1959 issue of Mechanix Illustrated. I'm calling it MI59. It's a tad smaller than a Les Paul. Scale is 25". Neck is red oak with 21 frets...snakehead peghead. Body is red oak and black walnut. Pickups are GuitarFetish P90's that fit in a single coil space. You can see the Tele influence. Finish is satin wipe-on poly. Nut is bison bone.
