    Preview of new UCCNC screenset

I uploaded a preview video of my new UCCNC screenset. Hopefully it'll be ready in a week or two.

Re: Preview of new UCCNC screenset

    Hello Gerry,
By using plugin provided by UCCNC, we can use mach3 program. Can we use mach3 and UCCNC in the same computer? So, one time we use UCCNC, another time we use mach3 from the same computer. Does the post processor for mach3 the same as UCCNC? For example, we can use mach3 with sheetcam, but I do not know if we can run sheetcam with UCCNC?

Merry X-mas and happy new year...

    Thanks. Asuratman.

UCCNC and Mach3 understand the same g-codes and you can run the cncdrive motion controllers with both softwares.

Depending on which version of UCCNC you're using, you might see your motion controller updating firmware when you switch between Mach3 and UCCNC, But other than that, yes, you can easily switch between them.

    Hi Gerry

That looks awesome I feel like you read my wish list of things i loved about mach 3 and transferred them to uccnc especially the tool change

Could I ask you a question about controllers I have a uc100 and as its performed so well have decided to get a uc300

I run a bridgeport type milling machine and typically max feed rate is 600mm per min would the usb uc 300 be ok for my needs as the pc is already networked

thanks for your help and looking forward to using the screens

    Andrew

I don't know the answer to that. I'd just get the UC300ETH, and just add a $10 PCI ethernet card to the PC.
