Any luck with the 5-axis ice sculpture cnc

I had only heard of one company doing anything more than 3-axes for ice. I notice you posted this awhile ago. Did you have any luck with your 5 axis machine?

thanks for the ice cnc info

    Cabnet,

I appreciate the info---i checked the mastercam website..they look like solid machines...but i'm currently looking to get in on a lower budget even if i have to use smaller steppers and a slower feed rate to start. It's good info to note though as previously i only knew of 3 other parties building CNC's specifically for ice. The main trouble with ice is the question of whether to put the CNC in the freezer or out?
