Hello there guys, how are you? I am looking for advice please.
I have been laser cutting (not engraving) for about 4 years now. I have 3 machines.
1st: 40w Shenhui K40
This is a toy, but is what I started with, and got me into lasers, and I thank it for changing my life... Laser power was very weak, cutting speed was bad, and accuracy was terrible when cutting fast. but I still love it, even though I don't use it.
2nd: 50w Shenhui D350 500mm x 300mm
This is my hero. Changed my life! Laser power is perfect for the stuff I cut. I cut very thin materials @ 16% power, 75 MMS. Don't need better.
3rd: 50w Unkown Brand 700 x 500 mm. Similar to the one above, hardware and everything. I bought this one, simply because of the work space, being much bigger than the D350,thats the only reason why I bought it.
Now, I am searching for my last laser cutter. This time, I need more power, and more space. I want to be able to cut 3/4 inch wood with it. And I don't want to do it at 10 mms ...
Quite honestly I don't know if I can afford one... But, does any body here have an Idea where I could buy an affordable laser cutter, that would have a workspace big enough to put an entire MDF sheet from home depot in it? Or at least Half?
What kind of price would I be looking for? I don't care where it's coming from, but I am staying away from our domestic WAY overpriced american products. Yes, the quality, looks, and perks are there but... In my opinion, if I have Enough power, Enough size, and Enough accuracy, I don't need anything too pretty.
Thank you guys !
