At present I'm using Mach3 and the 2010 Screenset. If I switch to UCCNC and the 2017 screenset is it required to use the UC100 or UC300? Are can I still use my DB25 parallel port cable with the C10 BOB?

Yes, UCCNC only works with CNC Drive motion controllers. UC100, UC300, UC400.If I switch to UCCNC and the 2017 screenset is it required to use the UC100 or UC300?
You may need a different cable, depending on the motion controller. Are can I still use my DB25 parallel port cable with the C10 BOB?
The UC100 uses a DB25 connector, while the UC300 and UC400 use IDC26 connectors.
But the C10 will work with either one.

Using Mach3 sometimes I get a "Error triggered - 3336" along with some other error codes and when it happens it is all but impossible to recover X & Y zero actually and I loss the project. I'm hoping that if I change to UCCNC the 'error triggered' shut downs will stop. What are your thoughts on this Gerry?
I've never seen any errors in Mach3. I know that some people do, and I think that they are related to the PC, and parallel port driver.
I wouldn't think that you'd get any errors with UCCNC. I've not heard of any?

Never seen that error message. The only thing I have seen in Mach is that it occasionally lost contact with the UC300USB I used with it. If you plan to move to UCCNC I strongly recommend you buy the UC400 or the UC300ETH, not the UC100. The reason is that Ethernet is much better than USB. The disadvantage is that it is not really "plug-and-play" because you will need an external power supply and a box. The UC100 is boxed and takes the power from the USB port.
