    gecko drives

    how many gecko drivers can be run off one pc with the printer port is the max 4axis? how you get round this if you need 5 axis ie maybe for a router lather with index chuck etc

    If one needs more than 4 axis with printer port
    264.0 Minimum HoldingTorque(oz-in) (HT23-400 motor)

    does a break box help?

    You add a second parallel port on a PCI card. I think you can run 7 Geckos independently. 6 axis + 1 step/dir spindle.

    most laptops are limited for external pcima cards...for other junk....
    is 6 axis on one paralle port or is the limit 4?
