Unhappy CO2 Laser cut SIZE issue.

    Hi All,
I having issue with my 80 watt Laser X axis. The belt need to be change so I changed it. But issue still same. As I cut 25mm x 25 mm. it cut perfect with tolerance of + - 0.05mm. But when I cut 900mm x 25mm the it cut 907mm instead cutting 900mm. Y axis is perfect. X axis giving issues. Any one can help?

    hello.
what controller do you have and what software do you use?
maybe you need to recalculate pulse units?

Re: CO2 Laser cut SIZE issue.

I am sorry i am not very familiar wth rdcad but i think there is option under vendor tools where you can adjust pulse cont of x axiss....maybe someone with more experience would jump in
did you measure 25*25 mm with calliper? i think if you have on 900mm tolerance of 7mm that this around 1% of error and if that it is that on 25mm you would get error too but arround 0.25mm and if you measure with ruller you cannot notice this...
