on the new C10 it looks like they have saved a 74ACT245 octal buffer by using one to buffer the 8 date lines instead of half of two IC's as on the old board

but now has an output status LED to the output enable

Yah, it's just weird, I ordered one thing got something else, no real explanation of what's different or even how to use it, very disappointed..

After I test the ports, if that looks good all the way through, then I'm looking at drivers... Not buying again from them!!!

this shows the signal path for the step and direction signals to a 5056D driver - will apply to many opto-isolated drivers
