Hi all,
Newbie here with my 50W Chinese blue laser cutter
Has anyone recently /designed or built a way to measure power output?
Absolute wattage would be great but even a relative measurement would suffice for now -
to keep track of anything that is deteriorating, getting dirty, out of alignment etc.?
1. Would like to measure in front of each mirror
2. Have a voltage or resistive output proportional (not necessarily linear) to laser power
3. Parts cost less than $50 ???
I've read about thermoelectric devices but not sure how to implement - i.e. properly coated aluminum,
PN Peltier juctions, etc. Was thinking of trying something similar with NTC resistors but need some help...
Thanks for any feedback,
Dennis
