    Doosan GT3100 & polygon turning

    Hi!

We have Doosan GT3100 with Fanuc iT series software.
Have anyone done polygon turnign with these machines ? Is possible ?
Can i use any discmill with 1 teeth ? JHow to pick diameter for example SW20(mm)

    Polygon milling basic idea:

G51.2P1Q2 (main spindle start to rotate, and subspindle start to rotate with x2 rpm)
G01Z-5.F0.2 ( hmm. we get struck to this line...it wont move. )

Could it be that option is not open ? No error messages on screen.

Polygon Turning is possible, but, to my knowledge, an option.
When you can, please let me know the S/N of the machine and I'll look it up.

Software was Fanuc i-TD and that includes polygon milling option.I verified it from Fanuc, thanks Douglas.

Problem was my programming...feed should be milling feed G99 and that goes fine in simulation.
I'll try to drive steel as soon as i got previous job done.
