    Question more tool offsets

Does anybody know how to open up my tool offsets to 3 digits?

    I've got a Mori NV5000b with a Fanuc - I believe its an 18i.

If I'm not mistaken, you get 3-digit offset numbers when you add additional tool offsets (over 99). The Doosan/Daewoo MX2500ST I've been working on has 400 offsets (Geom & Wear) per turret. Tools are called with 5 digits - first 2 are the tool number, last 3 the offset #.

I think this applies to 16/18/160/180 (i -series included) Check the following parameters and see what values are in there.

    9926.4
9927.6 (cutter comp C for tool nose compensation)
    9933.0 (separate height/diameter/geometry offsets)

    -A
