Newbie: E100L Rs232c output of IGF files

    Have a Okuma Captain-L370M with a OSP-E100L trying to setup RS232C input/output with Cimco DNC-Max v8.

Have been able to successfully offload a .min file but when I try to offload a .IGF file I get "Error 9071 A number of a letter in 1line are over 155. '0000000000000.."

I have tried changing the Tape Parameters, CN0: settings but nothing seems to correct issue, can someone provide some assistance or guidance.

Kurmay is correct. IGF files contain a larger character set than ASCII code can handle so they cannot be transferred via RS232. Not to DOS floppies either. They must be offloaded only in Okuma format onto a floppy.

    Best regards,
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
