    Y axis have MANY resonance

    Hello,

    i build one machine with:
    ballscrew 1605x1000 (Y)
    ballscrew 1605x650 (X)
    ballscrew 1605x350 (Z)

    Nema motor 34 1600oz.

All axis moves ok but the Y axis have MANY resonance.

What should i change to eliminate ou reduce the noise?

    ballscrew 1610 / 2005 / 2010 ?
    nema motor 23 ?

Re: Y axis have MANY resonance

It's probably a combination of motors and drives, Smaller motors, and better drives would probably work a lot better.
Those 1600oz motors are almost always a bad choice.
