    Charmilles Robofil 200 -- need help diagnosing

    Trying to diagnose a problem on a circa-1988 Charmilles Robofil 200...

    First of all, I know, what am I doing trying to resurrect that old dog? I guess I like a challenge.

    Symptoms:
    Last time it ran, during a cut, it stopped and displayed a "P05?" alarm
    Attempts to power up after that result in blank screen and two beeps
    CRT does work
    No floppy drive lights.

    Guessing something went brain-dead in the computer... The manuals we have do not describe no-display troubleshooting using beep codes...

    Any ideas?

    We have a Robform 200. If I get the P05 alarm.

    that means we must reload the communication disk.
    it takes about 20 minutes and your back running.
