Hey people,

After my looong ATC spindle project I didnt think I would be coming back to the DIY CNC scene, but here I am, and this time I might just be in for the long haul.

I got my hands on 3 sanyo p5 1000w motors, "P50B08100VCKS7" to be exact. These are:

-100V AC
-9.6 Amps on label, but about 12 amps and 36 amps peak.
-3000 rpm

motors.

Now, I never built a PSU before, so I need all the help I can get to get these babies going. My main is 230v 50Hz here in Europe, and its not that stable, so I need something beginning with this. Oh, I did do some research on the forums, but what I found is mainly people who at least have some experience in this topic.

- What type of power supply should be aiming for?
- Any recommended reading on building a PSU for a (actually for 3) 1000w motor(s)?
- What parts do I need to get?
- Any place where I can find some schemetics?

any helps would be welcome

Thx
