    Rapids Exceeding Configured Axis Velocities

I've had my mill setup and working for about 4 years and right before a job my aging computer decided to call it quits. Luckily I was able to pull the Mach3 folder off the hard drive and move it to a different computer.

So I get the new computer fired up and start jogging the machine around and notice the steppers sound a little different. Then I notice that the feedrate display when jogging or running a g0 is 66 ipm however my velocities in motor tuning are set at 60ipm. Can anyone explain what is going on?

Okay the problem has been resolved, but I'm not sure what the issue was. I switched from a computer running vista (Hey its the only 32 bit system I had at the time, don't judge me) to a computer running Windows 7 32 bit. Same configuration and things are back to normal.

    Not enough beer maybe?
Yes, I should have been drinking more beer and playing with less Vista!

It was most likely a corrupt xml setup file. Mach3's favourite trick. In most cases duplicate motor tuning settings conflicting. Makes for some very odd behaviour, if you copy a velocity setting and paste a duplicate only with a different setting you get one speed in one direction and another in the opposite, I found Mach 3 to be doing this itself. Every time you open motor tuning window you need to go through the xml in notepad and look for duplicate settings.
