No im good sir thanks anyways what type of machine you will use to cut on this? if it`s laser then I just hit directly on the 40cm. you required, but if on router I need the bit size sir to compensate it to precisely hit the 40cm requirement.

Just finished drawing it in a 3D environment, I just need to know what type of machine you use to cut this, the height is exactly 400mm. as you prefer. the other one is cardboard type and the other one is 5mm thick wood.













Though I refined a little bit on the curves and contours of the duck to give a much more realistic view on it, it`s a wild duck profile by the way hehehe

Here you go sir, Im basically clueless on what type of laser unit you have, I just convert it to 3 different types of format, polylines, lines and STL and two different styles, with borders and without borders.

About the program I only use Google Sketchup on all my drawings sir. whether it`s a 2D or a 3D, the best free 3D program so far.

Try importing it directly on your laser machine software sir and see if it can be viewed.

sketchup is very easy to use than CS6 on my opinion, it`s a basic 3D drawing software, but it gets complex when you use plug-ins such as lumion and other eye candy stuff in a 3D environment.

What format do want it to be sir? because I can convert the files on anything to match your needs.

One moment sir, can I have the brand and model of your Laser machine? those files that I gave to you can be directly loaded to our laser machines and cut them directly, I wanna know what`s the model of your unit so that I can convert the files myself to be readable on your machine, I can give you the .skp file but still you need to convert it so that it can be fed on your unit.

About that cardboard book/magazine stand you can try drawing it in sketchup sir, very easy to use, (I can draw it over there in seconds not minutes hehe) you just need to find a way how to import it to adobe illustrator if that`s what you are used to.

For the eye candy effect I used twilight plug-in ma`am

For converting it to a DXF, it had a built in import/export tools on sketchup, click on file>import or export, I think if you are using a laser machine to cut it you only need a DXF file to be able for the machine to read it, we have 3 kinds of laser machines here in the shop and they all just need a DXF file for precision cutting or engraving, the laserpro laser machine is the simplest because it can accept even pictures then print just like a normal printer.

About the book stand I just drew it on sketchup ma`am and rendered it on twilight, I can give you the DXF file on it if you want, I did not personally constructed it in actual though about the second pic, is it a dog?
