Just was checking MSC (that bought ENCO) and the price of the endmills I buy just about doubled! Really??? $20 for a 3/8" HSS endmill!

Looks like I am looking for another supplier...

It is that way with almost every single item. I used to buy my brass rod from Enco, but cannot afford MSC pricing. When I looked it was competative with Mcmaster Carr. Since I already get a lot of stuff there, I just continued with that.

Are you guys logging in with your enco login? When they merged the sites, they said if you login with your enco info, then you'd see the enco prices. I haven't tried to verify it and I don't like the merge at all!! ....but I have bought a couple of things since they send out 40% off coupons via email fairly often.

You are right! Price went from almost $20 to $10.47. That seems a little screwed up...

Yes, but.... They actually called me shortly after the change, and explained I'd still get the same Enco prices - for one year. After that, sounds like it goes up to the usual MSC prices. I told them I'd probably never buy from them again.

It would never accept my Enco login. Maybe because I already had an MSC account or something.
Online metals has both MSC and Macmaster beat on the brass prices, but shipping just kills. So rather than order in bulk, I just get a few rods at a time from McMaster Carr. Cheaper shipping and next day delivery.

As it happens, a guy from MSC called me and walked me through the login merge. I have been getting the Enco price as far as I know, and the other nice feature is that shipping is free. No need to wait for a free shipping promotion. As an example, a 7/32 Accupro ball endmill from my last order has a catalog price of $19.19. Current Enco price is $10.94, which is what I paid. I'm not aware if this is for 1 year only, but if so then I'll adjust as needed.
