I have created a 2D drawing.
I now need to print this to actual size. 48" by 30"
The desire was to print to a .pdf file
Unfortunately every option I try shrinks the drawing to fit on one 8.5"X11" page.
I want the drawing to split over several pages so I can lay it on the table in actual size.
Is there a way to do this. I have to assume it's operator error. Can you please point me in the right direction?

Here are 2 prints.

I created a 48x30 rectangle and also a 49x31 rectangle (Printers have margins set)

I chose print and set to 1:1. In the printer properties, you have to find the paper size set (In your case, and a default is 8.5x11 (letter) and go to that setting and add a user defined form value. For this print I defined it as the outer value. (My PDF printer is an adobe one)

I printed the pdf out. Then open the PDF in adobe reader and choose print, which will have a tiling option. This is the second output with multiple pages in it. I didn't select "Show cut lines" and other options...

Thanks for the feedback. I gave that a try but didn't seem to work. Maybe I'm just not following the instructions. Never could find a tiling option.
Last time I sent the picture to power point and then cut it up into single sheets the size I wanted. Was a PIA but it worked. Maybe that's how I have to go.
Does anyone else have an option?

BurrMan, you're awesome. That worked. The key for me was "poster" seeing the video put me right on it.
