Just got a 1997 Milltronincs ML-1440 lathe and want to run gcode on , instead of conversational, does anyone have the begining of a facing or turning program so i can see what commands it wants to see.
Thanks

I just want to say, you probably have nothing to gain programming g code vs conversational on that lathe. I am fairly proficient with multi axis cad cam, I also happen to own 3 milltronics lathes, while I do program my surfacing and multiaxis programs via cad cam, all the lathes are strictly conversational. The reason being, simplicity and lead time to finished part. I have a base of probably 200 programs in my favorite lathe, the ml 22, if I need a new program, I can generally pick one that's close, copy it and modify the copy, now I'm making chips in 5 minutes flat.
wow thats good, I guess I should play around some with the conversational.
