what do people think of gibbs cam for milling?
I use Gibbs for some very technical designs, and obviously some real simple ones as well. I post to any one of our mills: twin matsuuras, KV, VA, and two brothers.
Aside from doing some real odd work involving altering the planar angles, I have been very pleased with it, and it was fairly easy to get the hang of.

We have been using GibbsCam for about 10 years. We run 90% 3d work and 10% 2d work. We enjoy the flexibility of Gibbs because of the Cad functionallity and versitility. We use Solid Edge as our main CAD but have learned that Gibbs does some things better and quicker. We post to many machines: Haas, Milicron, Hurco, Bechman, Prototrak and Anilam mills. Prototrak and Bridgepport lathes. For a mid-priced software, I feel its at the top of its catagory. Also, Gibbs is coming out with its new version this year with greatly enhanced 3d toolpaths. My opinion is its the best bang for your money for 2 & 3d work.
Hello boys.
I am looking for a tutorial of Gibbscam.
Somebody has it?
Thank you very much!

Hello.
EL DUKE,
You could go to the forum under "Virtual Gibbs". There is a thread about
training there. If you have a seat of GibbsCam now, you can go under "Help"
and then "Getting Started" or "Contents" on the top line once you open Gibbs.
Hope this helps.
