parts catcher in my Okuma LB15

    Hello.
I have parts catcher in my Okuma LB15. Unfortunately I have not idea how to run it by G or M-Code. Have you some suggestions?
    Best Regards

Do you still use parts catcher on lb15?
If so, did you install or was it on machine already?
I might have Toellner quote me.
    Is it worth it?

M75 & M76 at least for me is the advance/retract of the tailstock. You may have to get with a service rep. for most likely additional M codes (another set of advance/retract codes). Or if your into electronics, switch the tailstock over to the parts catcher if your not using the tailstock. That will be the "jerry-riggin" way.

    From OSP5020L programming manual

    M76 retract
    M77 advance

    M55 tailstock retract
    M56 tailstock advance

It might depend on how your machine was configured when it was manufactured.

It may not have the software or hardware for a parts catcher.

okuma machines usually have up to 4 extra m code outputs. if your parts catcher was fitted later, it is probably using a pair of these. one for advance and one for retract (or grip/release?).

could be m88/m89 or around there, check your 5020 manual.
