Hi there guys.

I'm having an issue getting my machine to do a tool change in MDI. Also, I can't get the magazine to cycle in an automatic cycle, but can manually change the position of the magazine.

Alarm 268 is a magazine inposition sensor malf.

My first guess what the encoder was off, but Mazak support informed me that if the LED was lit up, then it was in the correct position. I am completely stumped. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hope it helps. Check and ckean all switches, even door switches.

We troubleshooted that initially and are currently chasing wires down that go to the inposition switch on the side of the magazine. I think that it's a relay issue, but I don't have the correct electrical schematic.
