I have generic mach3 breakout board and i am using powerflex40 vfd i have tried everything but i can't control spindle speed from software.
Breakout board has inbuilt pwm control.
    My doughts are
Do i need more extra peripheral electronic?

( 1 ) relay is enough, for forward and the 10v PWM control is all you need, set up Mach3 to turn on the relay and control the PWM output, then you will be ready to connect it to the VFD
