    Problem with CV mode

    Hello,
I'm trying to mechanize a complex geometry composed for hundreds of small lines (G01 codes). I want the machine to move smooth, (since de lines are actually part of continuos bezier curve). So, i put the G64 code at first, in order to set the CV mode.
But, it does't work as i expected. The machine did move smoth 10 or 15 movement, then stop, and start, makes another 10 or 15 movements, stop and start. The movement is smother than in exact stop mode, but yet it is not smoth as i need. It seems like the program only read 10 or 15 gcode lines ahead. I tryed all the opcions : angular discrimination, etc etc. Any suggest? I am using mach2
Thanks in advance and sorry about my english.

Not sure about Mach2, but Mach3 has a look ahead # of lines setting. You might want to try Mach3.

    look ahead

Thanks for answer. I didn't find any look ahead option on the mach 2 configuration. So i will try mach3. I'll post what happened then.
