Question Locate re-start point in program when stopped mid-cycle.

Hi all - I'm completely new to using CNC hence the newbie question.

If using a Heidenhain CNC how would someone locate the correct re-start point in the G-code program when the machine is stopped mid-cycle?

    Thank you.

I'm not familiar with Heidenhain, but in general, you note down the position of the tool, according to the DROs, and then look for the instruction in the G-code that sent it there. Start on the next line after that.

    Thank you awerby.

I should have said in the OP, though yes it is G-code as per your reply.
