My Multicam is ignoring my max depth

    Hello all,

I'm a brand new member, and have only been running a CNC machine for a little over 2 years now. The company I work for has a Multicam MG Series. While running some acrylic today, the machine spontaneously began cutting well below the max depth set; and not by a few thousandths, but like a quarter inch into the bleeder. I've re-started, and re-homed the machine several times, and re-calibrated, then re-touched surface and max depth, but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your Z axis drive belt. The cogged belt may need replacing.

Make sure the bit is not slipping in the collet.
