    4 and 2 pin header on ubiquitous "5-axis break out board"?

    I have one of the ubiquitous "5-axis break out board" with screw terminals and 2 or 4 pin headers. What are these headers called, and where can I buy the female plug for this header? Not enjoying using the screw terminals.

    You can find those connectors at Digikey.com

    Check the spacing from one pin to the next, most of these boards us .100" spacing but some also have metric spacing. Take a measurement tool and then you can search on digikey and find all the matching plugs.

    @cncman172

    I hate to seem so ignorant, but I don't have enough of the nomenclature to even do a search on such a vast site. Do this style of connectors have a name? I can measure that the pins are 2mm apart, but what about the actual plug? I see a lot of things with little snaps attached, do they fit these rectangular plugs with notches cut out? With so many similar designs, I don't know what fits this particular header. What search terms do I use to find this?

    Thanks!

    just do a search on Aliexpress , Ebay or a search machine and search for " connector 4 pin 2mm "
    You will find something like MCIGICM 2000pcs female material PH2.0 2mm 4 pins Connectors Leads Header Housing PH-Y Also buy the pins that are needed

    rlrhett,

    You did not have a close imagine of that particular board, so it was hard to tell but here are some example connectors with 2mm spacing. At the bottom of the first page you can find matching plugs. This should point you in the right direction.

    Mine was 2.5mm but I found a whole kit on eBay that worked out well for me
