Hi All,

I was hoping someone with experience using both machines could chime in with their opinion. Which model would you recommend for an 80w device? The great Thunderlaser team has said the only real difference is the safety devices added to the Nova, but hoping someone here can share some real experience. I'm also wondering the exact same thing. I think the nova looks a little nicer, but other than that i have no clue what the difference is. Nolan, can you please explain the difference? Thanks.

Nova is our new product, the upgrade of our machine is upgrading Nova system.
As original machine model, Mars is still popular among our customers, and we don’t increase its price.
But it doesn’t mean Mars’ cutting and engraving is worse than Nova, they have the same major parts.

Yes, at first, Mars’ laser head and sliding block guide rails are black, but Nova’s are blue and the rails is coated by oxide layer so it isn’t easy to rust, and easy to wipe the dust.

Secondly, the autofocus from the original touched auto focus to infrared auto focus, so Nova is more accurate than Mars.

Thirdly, Mars’ water protection device changed to Nova’s signal line, when the machine working was fault, it will show out on the LCD panel and the machine will stop working.
