    Question Fanuc 16iM IP Address

Just taken delivery of a 2nd hand Kitimura & have not got the appropriate manual with the machine to set up the Ethernet/network card.

Has anyone got a copy of this manual in pdf etc?. Or can anyone tell me what parameters I need to change to allow for a connection.

    Need to know
Were you put the IP address
were you place the location of your program Dir eg e:\ncdata\
were you change the user name for the machine.
I can see these in the host connections page but can’t change them.

    Help please????

Call either Fanuc in Chicago or Detroit they are both great and will help over the phone on this. Or there is a guy in Indianapolis named Don at this number 317-791-4450. He works on Fanucs all of the time. He might even fax you a page of information.

Thinking from the top of my head but this will get you close. System hard key right arrow softkey until you see a softkey labeled "ethprm". Select that softkey, right arrow then select "board" softkey from there you should see IP address and Mask address and all the information you need to setup networking. IF you do not see the "board" softkey then the data server option is not installed on your machine. You can still try to setup your network by selecting the "pcmcia" softkey or "embedded" not guarantee those features will work with what you want to do.
