    Captain l370 osp-e100l

Hey guys! I'm new and afraid I have a problem. I just got this captain and have a cpu 1-1 alarm... The machine ran fine before it got shipped to me, it was without power for probably 6 weeks, could that have caused it? It also doesn't have the software disks in the back, can I get these from anywhere other than okuma?
Thanks in advance for the help

Send me a pic of the screen ([email protected]) and I will confirm my suspicion, but your battery may have died and you have to reload software. And no, you must get the disks from Okuma - each set is serial # specific. If you found another machine with the EXACT specs you have (options/configuration), in theory it would work, but that would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Actually, I missed the E-100 part; technically, it wasn't disks that were used - that control software is on the compact flash cards (CF) in the machine and the control software is on a CD. I assume you don't have a CD?

Have you tried reseating the boards in the CPU rack? Sometimes shipping can jar things especially if shipped without air ride.

Re seat cables as well and post pic of error.

Check in the electrical cabinet to see if the system software on flash might still be in there. It normally is unless removed by customer.
